She creates a perfect balance of structure and free play. The kids spend lots of time outdoors learning and using their imaginations. Allowing nature and simple objects to become their "toys". It's incredible how much confidence and knowledge our daughter has gained while being in Ms. Jamie's care. My wife and I enrolled our two children in Jamie's program earlier this year, and it has been an absolutely wonderful experience. When we did the initial tour of her home, I was incredibly impressed with how everything was arranged and organized, as she clearly had put a lot of thought into every little detail. As we got further along into the school year, my expectations continued to be exceeded as I saw her passion and love for teaching shine through on a daily basis. My son (age 4) and daughter (age 6) absolutely adore Miss Jamie, and are always so delighted to be dropped off there. Additionally, Miss Jamie's lessons went beyond the classroom because my kids would come home and enthusiastically teach me and my wife about all the things they learned from Miss Jamie and all the fun things they did. Having had my kids in a variety of different learning programs over the years, I can undoubtedly say that The Sunflower School program is truly something special. Jamie is a passionate, kind, and nurturing educator, whose love and devotion to kids is apparent to anyone that meets her. She is exceptional at what she does, and any parent would be lucky to have her in their kids' lives. Our family has certainly been enriched by having her in our lives. Highly recommended!

My family was lucky enough to have Jamie nanny for us for one year. During that time, she cared for my two year old daughter and five year old son, providing an enriching and caring environment for them. Their days were play based with lots of nature time, art activities, dress up, music, and opportunities for fun and growth. Jamie helped my daughter’s development in everything from navigating strong emotions and expressing herself calmly to potty training. She empowered my daughter to make wise choices, play respectfully, and interact with others with kindness. Jamie consistently provided positive guidance and techniques we still use as a family today. As a caregiver, Jamie is naturally gifted with children, both academic and social/emotional development-wise. She is very creative and always thinking of fun and unique projects for the kids to do and makes every day an adventure. She makes learning fun and incorporates games into her lessons. Ms. Jamie is the best caregiver my family has ever had. she is always thinking up new things to do, taking the kids places, and providing enriching experiences.
